SUNDAY SCHOOL 2024-2025

Register your child(ren) ages 3 years through 5th grade! The 2024-2025 forms are now available!!
In Sunday School children will:
- Learn many lessons from the Old Testament (Genesis to Jonah), lessons about Jesus’ birth and ministry, and lessons from the New Testament (Jesus’ teachings, death, and resurrection)
- Be welcomed to a place where they can grow in their faith as they hear God’s story.
- Learn lessons that will be presented in a way that conveys God’s unconditional love through student centered activities, songs and prayer.
Sunday School meets every Sunday during Education Hour (9:15-10:15AM).
Children and parents will first gather in the library for announcements and an opening prayer. The children will then be escorted to their classroom by their teacher and meet in smaller groups with other children their own age where they will engage in lessons created specifically for their grade level. Lessons begin on Sunday, September 8th.
VOLUNTEERS MATTER!! YOU MATTER!! OUR KIDS MATTER!!
To make Sunday School happen for the children of Ascension and their friends, MANY VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!
There are many volunteer opportunities available with varying time commitments. You do not need to have children in Sunday School to volunteer and make a difference in the children's lives of your Ascension family.
