History of Ascension Lutheran Church
Ascension has a long and wonderful history that started in 1961 and continues today.

Currently 447 families worship at Ascension. There are 72 students enrolled in Sunday School and 138 students enrolled in the youth programs.
Ascension is committed to its music ministry. We feature a experienced worship band, handbell choir, soloists, as well as instrumental and vocal small groups from our congregation. We also participate in an area ecumenical choir.
Nine ChristCare groups share God’s love through Bible study, discussion, prayer, and witnessing to God’s love.
There are nine Mission teams at Ascension that focus on work to be completed both in and outside of the Church and numerous outreach opportunities.
